Regional Sales Manager - ETC France

ETC France is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who is knowledgeable and proficient with theatrical and architectural lighting products. The ideal applicant will be an experienced sales manager from within the lighting industry, who is excited to promote ETC products, focus on key clients and further develop our talented sales team. 

Representative Responsibilities:
•    To co-ordinate all sales activity in the assigned region and to develop and maintain ETC’s strong relationship with consultants, lighting designers, dealers and end users
•    Strategic, tactical and operational management of key clients on senior management levels
•    Identify sales opportunities and distribution paths
•    Set discount structure, price levels and motivation for new business for the individual dealer or distributor
•    Support and assist the dealers or distributors with consultants, lighting designers and end users
•    Provide demonstration and training on equipment for consultants, lighting designers, dealers, distributors and end users
•    Attend trade shows as requested 
•    Collects input and needs of the territory & communicate these to marketing, product managers and tech service
•    Generate monthly territory reports
•    Build and maintain relationships with customers, dealers, and potential clients
•    Maintain a reputable profile within the industry (this may include participation of industry organizations or similar)
•    Acts as an internal company liaison when necessary
•    Helps fix problems and obstacles internally that customers may have

Minimum Qualifications:
•    Several years of commercial/technical background and experience from the lighting industry
•    Knowledge of full ETC product line and equivalent competition
•    Sales experience
•    Experience with theatrical lighting preferred
•    3-5 years previous supervisory experience preferred
•    Ability to understand the strategic, tactical and operational tasks which must be fulfilled
•    Strong presentation skills
•    Ability to travel extensively throughout the designated region
•    Ability to keep a flexible schedule
•    Computer skills, including MS Office
•    Knowledge of the use of small hand tools
•    Familiarity with employment law
•    Excellent communication and organization skills
        
Supervisory Responsibilities:
•    Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the company in establishing and carrying out responsibilities
•    Develop and maintain positive communication between department and other departments.
•    Performs the hiring, orientation, training, performance management, career development, and overall employee development of department personnel.  
•    Formulates, implements & reviews ISO procedures related to the department
•    Instructs employees about procedures and work instructions
•    Informs employees as to company/departmental plans and progress
•    Maintains reporting on all department activities 
•    Continue to monitor efficiency in the department and make improvements where appropriate
