Product Support Specialist

The ideal candidate will have experience with HES product line - both automated moving lights & console knowledge, proven problem solving skills & judgment, and a solid communication style.  SAP knowledge a plus.

Representative Responsibilities:
•Answering telephone support lines to assist customers regarding specific product line(s)
•Analyzes problems with non-functioning or malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment of software to identify problem areas and recommends corrective actions
•Provides pre-sale and post-sale support of company products 
•Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstration, installation and troubleshooting of product lines 
•Responsible for initiating and maintaining contact and providing overall support to the dealer network and end users regarding performance of the assigned product line
•Maintains a database of all product failures so that recommendations and design issues can be reported to engineering
•Works closely with engineering in communicating new software revisions to customer database
•Other tasks as assigned

Education and Experience:  Grade and level to be determined, based on prior experience
•Bachelor’s degree obtained through a formal accredited program or the equivalent experience
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision
•Completed work is reviewed only from an overall standpoint in terms of feasibility, compatibility with other work, or effectiveness in meeting requirements or expected results
•Understands and applies accepted product support principles and practices
