Brand Manager-HES

We're seeking a Brand Manager that will be based out of our London or Germany Office. 

The Brand Manager will support teams and develop marketing and training materials to help identify our brand.  The ideal candidate is experienced in communications, journalism or related field.  Entertainment and/or architectural lighting knowledge is preferred.

Representative Responsibilities:
• Supports the Market Manager and product marketing teams to develop and implement tactical marketing communications projects, including: sales tools, marketing collateral, advertisements, tradeshow booths, websites, social media and training materials.
• Acts as a project manager to effectively coordinate the development, design, approval, production, and distribution of marketing materials in partnership with the creative design team.
• Provides leadership along with Manager to develop and communicate the brand identity and values to customers in the defined sales regions.
• Provides insight into cultural differences between North America /Europe/Asia in relation to sales and marketing materials.
• Provides support to ETC Asia as needed.
• Acts as liaison between product management, sales, marketing, and the creative design team.
• Coordinates communication with end-users, resellers, specifiers and internal sales force with regard to the defined brand segment.
• Researches, writes and assists in the production and distribution of key company publications and other external and internal communications.
• Monitors all communications with an eye to editorial appropriateness. Supports ETC’s visual and editorial identity.
• Identifies key influencers such as designers, programmers and consultants.  Works with Sales to strengthen relationship and gather market feedback.
• Develops and maintains product positioning strategies that evolve with the brand and its products, including outreach programs and web initiatives. 
• Develops content for company web sites as required and assist in keeping web sites current.
• Monitors the effectiveness of PR efforts, including online and social media, maintain archive and media reviews.
• Skillfully communicates timely information regarding ETC and its brands, its products and people to internal and external audiences.
• Promotes and develops brand awareness through marketing activities, manage communication with sales distribution and end-users with regard to an assigned brand in the sales regions of ETC Ltd, ETC GmbH.
• Work with freelance writers, product managers and market managers paying close attention to project objectives and deadlines
• Supports and participates in the marketing team’s overall objectives
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager
• Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience required
• Entertainment and/or architectural lighting industry knowledge preferred
• 5-8 years’ experience in public relations, corporate communications, or marketing communications
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid project management skills
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Ability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in English and at least one other language
• Able to ask insightful questions and listen
• Able to work in a team environment
• Experience with Adobe Creative suite
