Quality Manager

High End Systems an ETC Company is looking for a Quality Manager to lead our quality efforts.   The ideal candidate will have a customer focused attitude, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, a minimum of an Associate’s Degree, and previous supervisory and quality experience.

High End Systems an ETC Company, a proud pioneer in high power LED automated lighting & digital lighting fixtures, and producer of industry preferred lighting controllers for live event & concert touring applications.

Representative Responsibilities:
•Lead product quality meetings and company quality meetings
•Ensure each meeting has proper data
•Ensure that each team reviews the data and identifies trends and issues to be fixed
•Ensure that action items are assigned and followed up is completed
•Ensure that meeting minutes are taken and properly distributed
•Monthly review of quality reports with team
•Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and the manufacturing teams to assist and assure that a quality product is designed
•Works with R&D, service and Product Management in regards to OEM supplier product quality issues to provide resolution
•Works with the department to facilitate change and set-up annual goals.
•Assists in departmental budgeting & variance follow up.
•Coordinates the procurement of tools and resources for the department.
•Ensures that the product shipped meet’s customer’s expectations.
•Assists Quality Inspectors when needed.
•Works with Quality System Coordinator to ensure ISO process is maintained
•Acts as site coordinator for all issues related to ISO procedure/process

Supervisory Responsibilities:
•Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the company in establishing and carrying out responsibilities
•Develop and maintain positive communication between the Quality department and other departments.
•Performs the hiring, orientation, training, performance management, career development, and overall employee development of department personnel. 
•Formulates, implements & reviews ISO procedures related to the department
•Instructs employees about procedures and work instructions
•Informs employees as to company/departmental plans and progress
•Maintains reporting on all department activities
•Continue to monitor efficiency in the department and make improvements where appropriate
•Other duties as assigned.
•Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion.

Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field of study or
•Associate Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field of study along with 4 years of Quality experience
•One to three years previous supervisory experience or 4-6 years Quality experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within the Quality Department

Entry level position
•As an entry level manager, this position has had little prior management experience or formal management training
•The focus of this role is to attend necessary job related training and become familiar with the process and procedures utilized in the Organization
•Employee uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction, but refers deviations, problems, and unfamiliar situations not covered by instructions to their manager for decision or help
•Manager assures that finished work and methods used are technically accurate and in compliance with instructions or established procedures
•Review of the work increases with more difficult assignments if employee has not previously performed similar assignments
•Situations to which the existing guidelines cannot be applied or significant proposed deviations from the guidelines are referred to their manager
