Associate Project Manager

Representative Responsibilities:
• Implements the design of program-specific architectural projects
• Addresses requests for information from dealers, consultants, engineers, electricians, representatives and end users in a timely and professional manner.
• Reviews dealer worksheet, sales order and purchase orders and addresses any discrepancies in a timely fashion.
• Confirms system requirements.
• Primary customer contact for architectural business to a Systems Group
• Primary customer contact for OEM customers
• Addresses requests for information from customers in a timely and professional manner
• Confirms system requirements
• Ensures drawings are consistent and accurate
• Manages the project’s progress to ensure the scheduled ship date is met
• Provides accurate project status to customers as soon as changes occur
• Submits bill of materials to Systems Engineering for review
• Releases project to manufacturing
• Updates project schedules to ensure they are accurate and current
• Communicates custom aspects with custom expediter
• Meets promised ship dates and specifications
• Ensures quality customer support for each project
• Communicates project’s schedule and ensures it is agreed-upon by external personnel
• Ensures product shipped meets customer’s expectations
• Ensures product meets customer requirements
• Reviews shipping paperwork for accuracy
• Assists in implementing the design of a custom project
• Assists in acquiring information from dealers, consultants, engineers, electricians, representatives, and end users in a timely and professional manner
• Assists in review of quotations, sales orders, and purchase orders
• Outlines system requirements
• Reviews submittal drawings/check printing
• Participates in the project’s progress to ensure the scheduled ship date is met
• Produces Visio or AutoCAD shop drawings
• Submits shop drawings to Systems Engineering for review
• Prepares sales order changes
• Produces release documentation for manufacturing
• Updates project schedules
• Supports systems commissioning
• Supports technicians performing system energization
• Assists other Project Managers as required
• Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion
• Back-up to Project Managers when needed


Minimum Requirements:
• Associate’s degree, preferably in a theatrical or lighting related field and/or equivalent years of applicable experience OR
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a theatrical related field
• Practicable experience in technical theatre and/or construction is a plus
• Familiarity with ETC products is a plus
• Practical knowledge of theatrical lighting systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong motivation and attention to detail
• Microsoft Office/PC skills
• Able to work well under pressure and set priorities for multiple projects
