Product & Demo Equipment Administrator

Department: Administrative Services
Region: East

ETC has an opening for a Product & Demo Equipment Administrator in our Orlando, Florida office. Some of the duties you will be doing are: scheduling, coordinating, shipping, and physically handling all demo equipment; assisting with sales training, customer demonstrations, and trade shows; obtaining technical support for equipment in the sales training labs; providing meeting services assistance; backing up admin by answering and directing phone calls; as well as other duties as they come up. You will never be bored! Our ideal candidate will be familiar with lighting products, have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, thrive on multi-tasking, work well under pressure, and enjoy assisting our sales dept!

Representative Responsibilities:
Schedules, coordinates, administrates, and physically handles all demo equipment
Ability to support international duties in the scope of the position
Assists with sales training, customer demonstrations, and trade shows
Provides or obtains technical support for equipment in the sales training labs
Provides meeting services assistance as requested
Work as needed to resolve customer issues
Coordinates material handling/freight
Flexibility to move within a pool of resources to various tasks based on company need

Additional Responsibilities:
Completes other duties as assigned
Back-up for administrative resources
Answers and directs incoming phone calls
Generates shipping paperwork
Light maintenance as requested by the on-site manager

Education and Experience:
Associates degree or 3-4 years of increasingly responsible positions in technical role
Experience in a team environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Demonstrated mastery in business systems (SAP, etc.) desired
Responsible for handling confidential, proprietary information in a professional manner
Ability to interact with other employees, work as a team
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to deal with all levels of personnel and maintain strictest confidentiality
Proven ability to work independently
Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
Ability to read, speak, and understand English
Knowledge of multi-line phone systems
Able to use advanced functions or Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, etc.
Ability to type documents/reports and create presentation materials
Able to project a friendly and professional demeanor
Able to work well under pressure
Proven ability to multi task
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Analytical skills, ability to understand relationship between transactions
Subject Matter expert in department they support
Ability to lift 75 lbs
