Then we may have a great career opportunity for you!  We are currently looking at hiring a Theme Park Specialist to join our Professional Service Team ideally based out of our Middleton, Wisconsin location but open to Orlando or Los Angeles locations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree in the field, with extensive hands-on experience in technical service, project management skills and a high-level of customer service background.

Representative Responsibilities:

  • Supports the sales effort, working as primary contact with key customers to ensure customer understanding and satisfaction at a wide variety of locations.
    • Visits key customers
    • Works with ETC Sales, Quotations, and Service
    •  Provides system leads to Sales as appropriate
    •  Provides quotations for systems and projects in conjunction with Sales and Service
    •  Facilitates training seminars for consultants and key customers
  •  Work as a significant interface between key customers and Marketing / R&D to ensure customers product needs are being looked at in the overall scheme of product development.  
  •  Assist Professional Services management in developing long-term changes to ETCs approach to architectural projects
  •  Develops and maintain strong relationships with consultants and end user dealers Ė
    •  Act as ETC key contact with these customers.
    •  Resolve problems, customer complaints, and regenerate good will towards ETC
  • Oversees implementation of design of a custom project layout, including:
    • Addresses requests for information from dealers, consultants, engineers, electricians, representatives and end users in a timely and professional manner
    • Reviews quotations, sales order and purchase orders and addresses any discrepancies in a timely fashion
  • Create & maintain an org chart for the appropriate theme park staff for use within ETC
  • Provide & maintain an org chart of ETCís primary service providers involved with theme park relationships
  • Develop a short and long term strategy to increase high-level service support for theme park projects through ETC personnel & integration partners
  • Improve communications on new product development efforts, both proposed & currently active
  • Ensure every theme park location receives new product demos on a regular basis
  • Acts as a resource for other departments.
  • May perform the following duties as needed:
  • Organizes and participates in industry trade shows in conjunction with Marketing.
  • Provides advanced planning and integration for large systems working closely with Sales and Quotes.
  • Serve as industry resource for the design and implementation of ETC systems.
  • Promotes positive company image
  • May provides advance system support in cooperation with Sales.
  • Travel to pre-project meetings for design coordination as needed by sales.
  • Represent customer needs in R&D and Marketing to insure systemís requirements are fulfilled on future products.
  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  •  Bachelorís Degree or comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
  •  7 + years of job-related experience or extensive technical service knowledge  
  •  Demonstrated ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks without general supervision.
  •  Experience within the theme park environment beneficial 
  •  Knowledge of electronics and/or electrical theories or practices
  •  Strong motivation and leadership skills
  •  Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to integrate with multiple personalities
  •  Ability to handle multiple tasks
  •  Ability to work in a close team atmosphere
  •  Microsoft Office/PC skills
  •  Able to work well under pressure and defuse volatile situations
  •  Ability to anticipate issues & proactively solve them before they become problems
  •  Ability to travel internationally when necessary
