Marketing Coordinator

ETC is looking for a creative and outgoing individual to join our Marketing team as our Marketing Coordinator. You will be involved in writing press releases, organizing events and trade shows, and developing social media content.  Candidates should be creative, organized and able to provide quick turnaround and meet deadlines.

Representative Responsibilities:
Perform as primary PR contact for ETC Asia
• Research and write releases, installation stories, Blog content and testimonials
• Assist with identifying and obtaining installation photos for media, catalog and PR purpose
• Distribute releases to press
• Provide content for company intranet and internet
• Create and maintain relationships with magazine editors and other key players in the market and media.
• Respond to media requests and interviews.
• Produce scrapbook of reviews and ads
• Research competition and market trends
Assist with trade shows and events
• Produce press packs for trade shows
• Work with internal resources to create required invitations, literature, graphics, etc.
• Utilize company CRM to manage leads and pass on to sales team
• Tracks attendees and coordinates registration
• Generate post-event evaluation
As a member of the MarCom team, assist in the creation of media ads to support marketing plans
• Provide content, working with internal staff and external contacts as necessary
• Create annual media plan within budget, negotiating with magazines for the best pricing and placement
• Manage media plan by adhering to deadlines and communicating specifications and other requirements to internal staff
Assist in the creation, production and distribution of literature, stationery, packaging, catalogues, power points, technical documentation, SWAG and other sales support materials
• Provide content as required working with internal staff and external vendors
• Coordinate translations of Asian media, public relations, marketing collateral, video subtitles, and website.  Responsible for ensuring accuracy of translations, utilizing established local contacts. Coordinate glossary building with external translation company.
• Assist with redesigns and revisions as required
• Review for accuracy, working with internal staff as necessary
• Ensure corporate ID standards are being followed
Assist in the development and production of special company and marketing-related projects to support corporate and marketing objectives
• Provide direction and content as necessary to successfully complete project
• Work with internal staff and external suppliers as required
Monitor expenses, adhere to budgets, and assist in planning and identifying future budgetary requirements
• Complete additional duties as assigned in a timely & positive manner

Minimum Qualifications:
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
• 1-3 years related experience
• Strong communication skill to communicate with a wide variety of people and nationalities
• Multilingual capabilities (fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin, native Cantonese)
• Excellent writing skills
• Computer proficiency in the following programs: PeopleSoft, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Graphics Software, Business Collaborator
• Knowledge of display and advertising techniques and products
• Experience in Trade show and Event planning and execution
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines and schedules
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
• Ability to travel as required
