ETC is seeking for Optical Lab Assembler to join our Manufacturing team in our Austin office. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently and with a team, has a positive attitude, has great attention to detail, and takes pride in their work. Responsible for performing a wide variety of operations on product assemblies ranging from break out to gluing. Follows methods and sequence of processes to reach specified output goals. Meets assigned production goals on a weekly basis. Coordinates with other sub-assembly units to ensure completion of product.

Representative Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing a wide variety of operations on product assemblies ranging from break out to gluing.
• Cleans glass with high powered buffer
• Sizes glass filters to include both cutting and breaking out of filters
• Glues and assembles filters into product assemblies
• Applies safety backing to mirrors
• Adheres to all company policies regarding job performance, attendance, safety and security practices.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with stated company policies

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Must possess the visual acuity and manual dexterity to utilize all associated production equipment related to assembly processes
• Successful completion of department's on the job training program
• Ability and willingness to work overtime or rotating shifts as needed
• Ability to lift 30 pounds as a standard part of the job
• Basic math and reading skills required
• Satisfactory job attendance per employee policy manual
• Must possess the visual acuity to differentiate between all colors
• Solid communication skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc.
