Materials Return Coordinator

Department: Quality
Region: Midwest (US)

ETC is hiring for a Materials Return Coordinator to join the Quality department in our international headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin! This role is responsible for processing materials that have been returned from the field or from customers that are in need of rework, restocking, repair, etc...

Our ideal candidate will have some knowledge of SAP, understanding of our product, and excellent communication skills!

Representative Responsibilities:
• Verify parts being returned are what are indicated on the return order and in the condition stated.
• Notify appropriate personnel of discrepancies
• Process Delivery’s in the ERP system
• Update and add any necessary information in return order and notification
• Create the Delivery and then process
• Send parts that are DOA and Product Failures to the appropriate areas.
• Create rework Production orders when necessary
• Create routing, determining the area for the unit to be sent to
• Create BOM
• Setup to print the correct documents
• Maintain any needed changes in the rework order.
• Work with the shop floor to ensure an easy flow of the product.
• Purchased items returned
• Verify all parts are with the unit
• Work with Service to ensure what the status of the part is.
• Monitor the 1060 return status storage location to ensure material is cleared constantly.
• Inventory
• Helps with the cycle count process in SLOC 1008
• Assists Quality Inspectors as needed
• Performs incoming inspections
• Processes NCMRs and coordinates MRBs
• Investigates, communicates, and resolves quality issues
• Investigates and processes quality notifications
• Participates in Pilot Runs & Reviews
• Other duties as assigned.
• Complete special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion.

Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and
• 2 years previous work experience in an ERP system doing multiple data entry task or
• 2 years previous work experience in an inventory related job dealing with return of product or
• 2 years knowledge of ETC parts and products
• Is able to problem solve and make decisions
• Is self-motivated and works with minimal supervision
• Good written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Requires knowledge of computer software: Micro soft excel, outlook, and an ERP system
• Requires strong organization skills and can multi task
• Good Customer service skills; must be able to interact with many departments.
• Must speak and write fluent English
• Able to lift and carry 40 lbs
• High level of accuracy
• Strong attention to detail
