Accountant

The Role: As an Accountant at ETC you will be responsible for supporting the processing of monthly financial reporting activities, preparing accurate and timely financial statements, preparing and analyzing sales tax, assisting with the calculation of monthly royalties, and a variety of other analysis and reporting. Representative Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial reporting activities
o Input and attach journal entries into SAP
o Reconcile bank accounts
o Reconcile selected general ledger accounts
o Correspond with various departments to answer questions related to departmental variance reports
• Prepare financial statements
o Prepare monthly journal entries
o Coordinate overall financial preparation process
o Accumulate and analyze information necessary to prepare financial statements
o Reconcile inconsistencies
• Assist in the preparation of monthly royalty calculations
• Analyze data and prepare monthly sales tax returns
• Maintain fixed asset register
• Prepare government census reporting
• Assist in the preparation of workpapers for audit and corporate tax compliance
• Maintain procedures for all tasks for which responsible
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
• All level of job-related experience will be considered
• Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of SAP, Prophix and Sage Fixed Assets a plus
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Working knowledge of Federal & State Tax Compliance beneficial
