Demo Room Equipment Administrator

Department: R&D
Region: South (US)

ETC, a global leader in entertainment and architectural lighting, currently has an opening for a Part time Demo Room Equipment Administrator in the R&D Department onsite at our Austin, TX location!


Representative Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates, maintains and updates all demo room equipment with assistance of RD staff
  • Assists with RD testing in demo room
  • Maintains demo lighting plots and helps update with new products
  • Assists with sales training, customer demonstrations, and trade shows as required
  • Completes other duties as assigned
  • Assists sales in preparation of events and demo’s
  • Able to interact with visitors in a technical and demo role
  • Light maintenance responsibilities as requested
  • Responsible for handling confidential, proprietary information in a professional manner

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associates degree or 2 or more years of increasingly responsible positions in technical role
  • Experience in a team environment
  • Technical skills to rig equipment, update software, maintain shows and functions of demo room
  • Knowledge of working with chain motor rigs is desirable
  • Prior experience working with Hog and Eos consoles
  • Ability to interact with other employees, work as a team
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deal with all levels of personnel and maintain strictest confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Able to project a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Proven ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs
