Sales Support Assistant (6-month LTE)

ETC is pleased to announce an opportunity to join our team in providing sales support for our growing line of RAYN products! This position involves working closely with our sales manager to expand our customer base through various outreach efforts. In this role you’d be following up with potential customers who’ve indicated an interest in our products, researching new sales opportunities and channels, supporting product demos and tradeshow efforts, and providing general administrative support to the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your knowledge of horticultural controls and of our expanding product offerings that will help shape the future of horticultural lighting!

We’re looking for an outgoing and personable individual who enjoys working with smaller teams and is looking to use their knowledge and experience to help us grow our market presence. This position requires excellent communication and customer service skills, competency with Microsoft Office, and a background or interest in horticulture.

This is a 6-month LTE position, preferably based from our Mazomanie office. ETC offers a laid-back and relaxed culture with amenities to include an onsite gym, deli, health and wellness team, and some fun spots to take a break and shoot hoops, play pool or shuffleboard, or just relax with a cup of coffee.

Representative Responsibilities:
• Assist Sales Manager in all aspects of sales support
o Help find new customers for sales team
o Support product demonstrations and coordinate demo equipment
o Follow up on all customer enquiries/quotations
• Conduct research projects as directed
• Provide coordination of marketing communications & trade shows
• Organize and support informational sales events
• Other duties as assigned.
• Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion
• Ability to travel when necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
• HS diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Admin experience preferred
• Previous experience or interest in horticulture beneficial
• Sales or service experience beneficial
• Excellent communication skills, inter-personal skills and customer service skills
• Competent with Microsoft Office
• Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work well under pressure
• SAP Knowledge preferred
• Ability to read technical data-sheets preferred
