ETC is looking for a Product Support Specialist in our Austin Office! The ideal candidate will have experience with both automated moving lights & Console knowledge, proven problem-solving skills & judgment, and a good communicator both written and spoken. Ability to travel is a must. SAP knowledge a plus.

Representative Responsibilities:
Answering telephone support lines to assist customers regarding specific product line(s).
Analyzes problems with non-functioning or malfunctioning electro/mechanical equipment of software to identify problem areas and recommends corrective actions.
Provides pre-sale and post-sale support of company products.
Provides technical support in sales presentations, product demonstration, installation and troubleshooting of product lines.
Responsible for initiating and maintaining contact and providing overall support to the dealer network and end users regarding performance of the assigned product line.
Maintains a database of all product failures so that recommendations and design issues can be reported to engineering.
Works closely with engineering in communicating new software revisions to customer database.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or 8 years of comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
0-3 years of job-related experience
Minimum 2 years of real-world programming and lighting design experience in Hog Control preferred.
Knowledge of technical theatre and/or knowledge of electronics and/or electrical theories or practices
Strong communication, organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills
Computer skills
Customer service skills
Able to drive automobile and have an acceptable driving record
Able to think quickly, creatively, objectively and decisively
Able to work well under pressure and defuse volatile situations
Able to work well independently
