ETC, a global leader in entertainment and architectural lighting, rigging, and control solutions, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our London Finance team. In this role, you will play a key part in the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements, delivery of high-quality management reporting, and compliance with statutory and government reporting requirements.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and highly organized accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll work independently while collaborating closely with our in-office team in London and a broader global finance organization headquartered in the United States.
The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles and have completed or be nearing completion of professional accountancy qualifications. Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment and familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, would be advantageous.
Beyond technical accounting knowledge, we are looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical, and eager to understand the story behind the numbers. This is not a role where reports are simply generated and reviewed at a surface level. Success requires the ability to critically evaluate financial data, identify unusual trends or discrepancies, and investigate issues across multiple business functions.
Because many accounting processes intersect with purchasing, sales, inventory, and other SAP modules, you'll need the confidence and persistence to follow transactions through the system, ask thoughtful questions, and uncover root causes.
