Our ETC Hong Kong office is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team. Experience in project management and customer service is a plus and theatrical lighting system design experience preferred. Some travel required. You will never be bored!

Representative Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the performance of projects, in particular the scope, quality, delivery dates, costs and customer satisfaction
• To assist Regional Sales Team with technical knowledge to get ETC specified
• Answers specific job quote requests
• Travel to customer site when required
• Develops technical detailed solutions to realize the project
o Retrieves information for projects
o Prepares project pricing estimates and checks for accuracy
o Prepares riser diagrams based on customer needs
o Manages SAP side of project, data entry and scheduling
o Customer contact for clarification of requirements
o Prepares submittal packages
o Prepares, presents and oversees the timelines of the projects execution
o Supervises delivery dates
o Develops solutions for the implementation of customer requirements and their realization under optimal use of resources.
o Interaction with client resolving issues
o Prepares requests for subcontractors and evaluates the proposals
o Work with Technical Service team on acceptance procedures and the handoff to the customer
o Interface with ETC Inc Systems and Manufacturing Departments as needed
• Procure necessary equipment / products for projects
• Ensures that product shipped meet’s customer’s expectations
• Ensure there is quality customer support for each project
• Provides feedback of product problems and dissatisfaction
• Attends regularly project related meetings

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Engineering or in related field
• 3-5 years previous job-related experience
• Project Management & Customer Service experience a plus
• Knowledge of ETC products is a plus
• Ability to solve problems
• Ability to read technical drawings and risers
• Theatrical lighting systems design experience preferred
• Knowledgeable in technical skills, standards and principles in reference to theater and studio technology
• Excellent command in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Excellent command in spoken Cantonese
• Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and to learn independently
• Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Presentation experience and skills
• Ability to travel
• AutoCAD proficiency
• Other computer knowledge: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, SAP
