We're happy to announce an opening to join our Midwest territory sales team as a Field Project Coordinator! Our FPC's are an integral part of our sales group, providing support internally to Regional Managers, and working with reps, dealers, consultants, specifiers, and customers to provide education, system layouts, and support. Position requires up to 50% travel within the territory, and occasionally outside the territory to attend tradeshows or other events.

Representative Responsibilities:
Assists Territory Sales Manager in sales support, working with ETCs regional sales managers, dealers, reps and consultants.
Visits dealers and reps
Works with ETC quotations, Customer Services and R&D to define project requirements and design lighting systems for customers.
Coordinates sales calls with factory reps and dealers
Performs product demonstrations
Conducts training seminars for dealers & reps
Supports vertical and cross territorial sales efforts
Assembles system layouts for theatrical and architectural lighting systems for the territory
Layout lighting control systems with specifications and risers
Coordinates loan & demo equipment for the territory
Develops and maintains strong relationships with consultants, end users & dealers - act as ETC key contact with these customers
Manages and provides budget information for projects as required
Participates in trade shows, sales training seminars and other sales events as required
Creates and leads training classes, including the training of customers on equipment
Helps organize and curate sales activity data in CRM system
Employee Travel
This position is a field position requiring up to 50% travel
This position requires occasional work in the evenings and weekends
Other duties as assigned.
Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion.
May support Technical Services as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related discipline, or 8 years comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions
All levels of previous job related experience will be considered
Experience in theatrical, architectural or television lighting production preferred
Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of AutoCAD or other drafting software
Knowledge of AGI, BlueBeam or other photometric software beneficial
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, lighting designers, sales representatives, dealers, electrical contractors, and distributors
Knowledge or experience of lighting design and/or lighting production
Knowledge of Architectural, Entertainment or Commercial lighting products
Knowledge of full ETC product line and equivalent competitor products
Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to provide timely, thorough and accurate customer service
Excellent presentation, sales, and communications skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong interpersonal skills - able to deal with difficult personalities in high-stress situations
