IT Business Analyst (Level TBD)

ETC is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join our IT Enterprise Applications team in Middleton, WI! This office-based position will serve as the primary liaison between our IT department and business users, providing essential support for our enterprise applications across help desk operations and projects. Our ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who thrives on diverse challenges. Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, requirement elicitation, and adept problem-solving, coupled with a strong technical background in ERP systems and proficiency in SQL. Representative Responsibilities:
• Maintain consistent communication with business units regarding IT products and services
• Facilitate negotiation of priorities between business units, IT management, and technical staff
• Gather and verify requirements for project initiatives, enhancement requests, and problem resolution
• Communicate business requirements to technical staff and facilitate conflict resolution
• Create and execute test plans
• Provide project management and analysis services
• Create, update, and deliver documentation and training for IT products and services
• Ensure timely resolution of second-level help desk cases
• Adhere to corporate, departmental, and team policies and procedures
• Participate in IT response to emergency incidents
• Participate as a member of the IT Business Analyst Team
• Participate on project teams as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager
• Communicate service-impacting issues to Senior Business Analyst, IT Management and/or the IT Help Desk
• Application user account administration
• Application development, configuration, and system administration
• Other duties as assigned
• Special projects and requests are completed in a timely and positive fashion


Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree or 8 years of comparable business experience in increasingly responsible positions in the related discipline
• All levels of job-related experience will be considered
• Knowledge of project management, business analytics and testing strategies
• Knowledge of corporate applications, computer hardware, operating systems, applications and desktop environments
• Excellent customer service, conflict resolution, and follow-up skills
• Ability to solve difficult problems and interdependency issues between complex business systems
• Extensive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility with time constraints
