ETC is looking for a Field Project Coordinator to join our dynamic Hong Kong office! If you’re passionate about lighting technology and have hands-on experience in the field, we want to hear from you.

We're seeking someone who not only understands the technical side of modern performance venues but also knows how to navigate the commercial process of delivering complex projects. Your ability to collaborate with lighting designers, hire companies, and dealers will be key to your success.

Representative Responsibilities:
• Provides a technical sales and support function for the sales team
• Distributes information and knowledge to distributors, dealers, consultants, engineers and end-users
• Visits theatres, dealers and rental houses doing demonstrations
• Supports ETC dealers within the territory
• Demonstrates equipment to distributors, dealers, consultants, theatre planners, engineers, and end-users
• Attends trade shows, exhibitions & demos – including set up and take down as required
• Prepares budget quotations and riser diagrams based on customer needs
• Interprets and develops specifications of ETC products
• Trains dealers and/or distributors and end users in the use of ETC products
• Assists RSMs in dealing with the client, scheduling visits, training and commissioning
• Provides feedback on product problems and customer concerns
• Obtains and maintains demo gear for the region
• Provides telephone and e-mail support
• Answers product application questions
• Completes SAP tasks for the sales team
• Attend training as needed to advance skills
• Other duties as assigned.
• Complete special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent applicable experience
• 3-5 years previous job-related experience
• Technical background from the theatrical lighting industry advantageous
• Console operator skills advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Extensive theatrical lighting experience
• Knowledge of ETC products
• Computer networking knowledge
• Familiarity with competitors’ products
• Ability to travel extensively
• Ability to keep a flexible schedule
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (including Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of other software such as AutoCAD, SAP, CRM, PeopleSoft, Acrobat, a definite advantage
• Presentation experience and skills
• Theatrical lighting systems design experience an advantage
• Knowledge of the use of small hand tools
