Do you love planning and executing the perfect event? ETC is looking for a Tradeshow and Events Specialist to be the face behind our brand at industry events across the country.
Based out of Middleton, WI, this role is your launchpad to travel, connect, and showcase ETCs innovation and creativity. Youll be responsible for everything tradeshow related. This role is heavily involved with planning, prepping, shipping, load-in, technical coordination and on-site execution. Representative Responsibilities:
Event Planning Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and coordination for all live and virtual event logistics in North America, working closely with the appropriate sales and marketing resources
Work with marketing leadership to develop event strategy and objectives
Establish technical requirements for onsite and offsite events. Also coordinates shipping and labor within projected budget
Coordinate suppliers & vendors as well as internal resources for events (Examples include internal service orders, lodging, audio visual orders, equipment, room set-ups, meeting materials and catering/menus)
Tracks budget detail for each show/event. Projects future costs. Assists in annual budgeting process
Maintain master schedule for all events (tradeshow, training, and special events)
Generates floor plans, product lists, staff schedule, show handbook and other supporting documents for every show
Organizes ETC receptions and special events
Supervises on-site set up at events and tradeshows. Acts as on-site representative to address issues as they arise
Coordinates new booth design and construction
Prioritizes quality lead gathering at all events
Coordinates follow-up mailing to show leads and oversees the distribution of leads to the sales team
Coordinate purchase of swag materials and equipment required for tradeshows and training events
Performs other duties as assigned
Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion
Technical Responsibilities:
Technical coordination of North American tradeshows and events
Upkeep and maintenance of existing booth pieces
Identifying and working with outside resources as necessary throughout the fabrication and refurbishment process
Maintaining inventory of tradeshow and training equipment. Updating firmware/configurations and work with Tech Services to keep equipment in working order
Booth set-up and supervision of on-site labor crew
Technical service support throughout each assigned show and training event
Developing and supervising flexible technical crew capability within company
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience in event management, project management, stage management or related areas
Education in Marketing, Theatre Arts, Event Management or related field is preferred
High degree of technical expertise with ETC and other industry products
Demonstrated innovative mindset, with a passion for delivering unique, engaging event experiences in both in-person and virtual venues
Independent self-starter requiring minimal supervision
Strong project management skills, attention to details to support success and efficiency
Well organized with a proven ability of successfully juggling multiple assignments and a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
Strong collaboration skills with experience working across multiple departments, and external agencies to manage and execute an event strategy
Hands-on corporate event planning and logistics experience, ideally within the entertainment industry
Strong communication skills verbal, written, and presentation
Proficient with Microsoft systems including Office 365, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Travel Required. Extended time on-site at tradeshows and events (could be 7-10 days) is required on a regular basis. Available to work evenings and weekends as required
